About us

PlusPort B.V. was founded in February 2004 by Yvonne Loef and Ron Bruijn. Ron from his expertise in the field of bandwidth and internet and Yvonne from the (online) training side. At that time it was not at all important whether customers or students had internet. The tablet and mobile were not even invented!

In 2019 a lot has changed both within PlusPort and in the market. Everyone now has internet and fiber optics, which is indispensable in our world but certainly not in that of our customers. Everyone, whether business or private, has access to the internet via a smartphone or tablet. Who could have imagined that 15 years ago!

Plusport

PlusPort has always been at the forefront and we still are! On the one hand with our software for PlusPort LMS Academy and SafetyPort RMS: here we continue to develop rapidly. Not only what customers demand, but also what our vision is for Learning & Development. New functionality is added every 2.5 months.

But even more has changed: our workforce has grown to nearly 40 employees, all of whom are passionate about helping customers with customized e-learning, standard e-learning, safety training, micro-learning or video productions and animations.

And finally in 2019 we sought cooperation with VISMA, which led to a takeover on 4 September 2019. We are aiming for Better Together: working with VISMA components for connections to HR systems such as those of sister RAET or VISMA Nederland or jointly moving to new customers looking for a total HR solution: VISMA & PlusPort: Better Together. We look forward to 2020!
